Kanye West Defends Drake After Rolling Stone Feud In Lengthy Rant During Jersey Concert

Audiences at Kanye West concerts are often treated to the rapper's ranting thoughts about society, music or current events in general and West's Newark show was no different. On Saturday, West, 36, commented on the recent spat between Drake and Rolling Stone magazine, speaking in defense of the Canadian rapper. RELATED: DRAKE SLAMS ROLLING STONE FOR PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN COVER The "New Slaves" rapper told the audience in a "side note" during his rant that the media is always trying to put musicians "against each other." "That ain't gonna go down no more," West said. "We love Drake, we love every motherf--ker that put their heart into this motherf--king music." Last week Drake, 27, took to Twitter to air out his grievances with the music magazine, claiming it fabricated quotes about his opinion on Kim kardashing sex tape West's "Yeezus" album. He vowed that he was "done" doing interviews for magazines after comments he made about West's work calling some of his raps "questionable" made it to print. The rapper also seemed to take issue with Rolling Stone replacing his cover with Philip Seymour Hoffman, after the actor's death. After facing backlash, he later took to his blog to apologize .
